Amber will be teaching several summer camps this year at the SullivanMunce Cultural Center. It’s a wonderful local organization with a wide variety of creative camps. Explore their full camp lineups for youth (age 7-11) and teens (age 12-17):

Below are the camps I’ll personally be leading.
KIDS CAMPs ages 7-11
ONCE UPON A STAGE – ART/DRAMA COMBO CAMP ✦ June 8-1
Step into the spotlight and bring a fairy tale to life! In this all-day art and drama camp, mornings are spent creating characters, simple costumes, and backdrops through hands-on art. After lunch, campers shift to drama – rewriting familiar fairy tales, developing characters, and rehearsing an original play. Afternoons include a break and snack, and the week will end with a fun, informal performance for family and friends.
ART ADVENTURER’S CAMP ✦ June 22-26
Pack your imagination and get ready to explore! In Art Adventurers Camp, young artists will journey through a new creative “world” each day, using drawing, painting, clay, and mixed media to create art inspired by nature, animals, fantasy lands, and more. Campers will experiment with a variety of materials, build creative confidence, and collaborate on fun projects throughout the week. This all-day camp is perfect for curious, imaginative artists who love to explore and try new things.
TEEN DESIGN CAMPs ages 12-17
MIXED MEDIA CAMP ✦ JULY 6–10
Campers will work with paint, collage, and a variety of materials to experiment with layering, composition, and color while creating both functional and decorative artwork. Emphasis is placed on process, experimentation, and developing a personal visual style.
FIBER ARTS CAMP ✦ JULY 20–24
This hands-on studio camp focuses on fiber-based art and design techniques, including hand sewing, macramé, and textile construction. Campers will create functional and decorative fiber projects while developing skills in craftsmanship, patience, and material awareness. Projects allow for personalization and creative decision-making throughout the process.

A Note From Amber
I am so excited to be teaching at SullivanMunce Cultural Center. It’s a welcoming, encouraging environment where kids and teens can try new things, make friends, and grow creatively. I’d love to see your child in one of my camps or in any of their wonderful programs.
If you’ve never been, stop by SullivanMunce (225 West Hawthorne Street) next time you’re in the Village to check out the art currently on display and learn a bit more about the town history!
So Many Great Options
SullivanMunce Cultural Center offers many other excellent camps ranging from ceramics and fine art to specialty workshops. If a week or topic doesn’t fit your schedule, look through their full camp catalog to find something that does.
